A: To become a "Subscriber," your company needs to be a startup or SME listed on the "View Company Profiles" page of the c-to-c platform. Simply fill in the Subscriber form to get your business listed.
A: Your company, as a "Subscriber," earns points by contributing to the game's charity fund. The more you contribute, the more points you accumulate, following a tiered system (e.g., R100-R999 equates to 100 points, R1,000-R9,999 equates to 1,000 points, etc.).
A: "Subscribers" compete for "CASH" prizes from the Treasury fund. The Subscriber crowned "No. 1" wins 50% of the Treasury fund, while two other Subscribers from the top 10 are randomly selected to win 10% (2nd prize) and 5% (3rd prize) of the Treasury fund, respectively.
A: The "Who's Number 1" challenge helps your company raise capital through collective fundraising, grow your customer base by giving back, creatively advertise your products and services, and connect with investors.
A: An "Individual" or "Visitor" is anyone who is not a "Subscriber" (a startup/SME listed on the "View Company Profiles" page) or an associate thereof.
A: As a "Visitor," you can participate by playing the fundraising games. You are limited to one play entry per week and can choose to play with any ticket size, including a FREE ticket.
A: "Visitors" can win "GIFT/DISCOUNT VOUCHER" prizes. At least one "Visitor" player is randomly selected each week to win prizes such as at least 20% discounted prices on products/services or at least R200 in gift vouchers redeemable from sponsoring companies.
A: Yes, to celebrate our 1-year anniversary, all new participating users/visitors are eligible to receive R200. Details on how to claim this will be provided.
A: The Treasury fund is a pool of "CASH" prizes contributed by our private partners and shareholders, available to be won by "Subscribers" in any given month.
A: 50% of the Treasury funds are allocated to the "Subscriber" crowned No.1, 10% to the "Subscriber" selected for 2nd prize, and 5% to the "Subscriber" selected for 3rd prize.
A: 35% of the Treasury funds are collected towards advertising and costs to run the Connect-to-Cash Collective Network.
A: The "CASH" prizes from the Treasury fund are won by "Subscribers" in any one given month.
A: The Charity fund is where contributions from players go. The "Who's Number 1" game involves playing fundraising games, and 100% of the total contributions to the Charity fund go to charity.
A: "Subscribers" accumulate & earn points by contributing to the Charity fund, they also earn points from contributions made by supporters. For example, a contribution of R100-R999 equates to 100 points, and R1,000-R9,999 equates to 1,000 points.
A: Yes, all sales of "HIGH tickets" go to the charity fund. "Visitors" can play with any ticket size, including a "FREE" or "PAID" option. A "HIGH ticket" (i.e., paid ticket) carries more points, while a "FREE ticket" carries 1 point. Regardless of the type of ticket used, their participation can still help a "Subscriber" earn points.
A: The Charity fund supports the platform's aim to create opportunities for startups/SMEs to raise & obtain capital through collective fundraising efforts and to grow their customer base by giving back.
